Manchester United attacker Antony joined Real Betis on loan during the January transfer window, and he has been excellent for the Spanish club so far.

His performances have been outstanding in La Liga and the European competitions. The player is expected to leave Manchester United permanently in the summer, and the Red Devils have set an asking price of £20-30 million for him.

The Brazilian seems to have regained his form and confidence at the Spanish club. Returning to Manchester United does not make any sense for him, and it remains to be seen whether Real Betis want to sign him permanently. He has been a key player for them, and it would make sense for them to get the deal done in the summer. The reported asking price seems quite reasonable as well.

Man United need to replace him

According to Football Insider, Manchester United are prepared to get rid of the player permanently in the coming weeks. It remains to be seen whether they can bring in a quality replacement.

Manchester United are lacking in quality and depth on the flanks. They need to invest in a couple of quality wide players during the summer transfer window.

Antony will look to continue impressing in La Liga and establish himself as one of the best attackers in La Liga next season, if he ends up joining Real Betis permanently. He has been linked with Arsenal as well.

The manager of the Spanish club, Manuel Pellegrini, has hailed him as a “very special player”. It is evident that he is highly rated in La Liga, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. The player has eight goals and five assists in 21 matches for the Spanish club this season.
