Tygo Land settled it in the 56th minute with a low right-footed finish, as Groningen beat Heracles 2-1 in Almelo.

After the restart he kept knitting attacks together, receiving between the lines and recycling possession to slow Heracles' press.

Because he drifted off the right and combined intelligently, Heracles' back line had to collapse, letting Groningen progress through midfield and manage the decisive phases.
