Lawrence Shankland settled Rangers' trip to Aberdeen in the 69th minute from the penalty spot, securing a 1-0 win in the Scottish Premiership.
Shankland kept his nerve from 12 yards after Djeidi Gassama was fouled, striking high to the right to break a tight game open. The Rangers forward then continued to occupy the centre-backs before making way (86.).
He finished with three attempts, two on target and five touches in the box, underlining how he stayed central to Rangers' threat. He also completed four passes in the final third to link play when his side pushed forward.
Because wide runners stretched the pitch and service arrived early into him, Shankland's movement pinned the Dons' back line and ensured Rangers controlled the decisive phases after the restart.
Rangers visit Falkirk next in the Premiership. The Dons go to Celtic.
