Decisive figure drives Strasbourg's turnaround against Lens | OneFootball

Gessime Yassine transformed the game in the 48th minute with a low finish, then sealed it late as Strasbourg beat Lens 2-1.

After the restart he burst into the right of the box and drilled into the bottom corner from a cut-back, a crisp strike that reset the contest and shifted momentum towards the hosts.

Moments later he supplied a teasing cross that Sebastian Nanasi headed goalwards, forcing Robin Risser into a save (56.). The Morocco international kept dragging Lens' back line towards the near post with direct, early deliveries.

Yassine then decided it on the counter, arriving through the middle to sweep into the same corner from Nanasi's pass (85.). The timing of his runs repeatedly exposed transition space and kept Lens off balance.
