Quiet, enigmatic, sometimes funny, can Olise become a leader with Les Bleus? | OneFootball

Michael Olise remains an enigma even as his on-field brilliance grows, raising the question of whether he can become a leader with Les Bleus.

According to L'Équipe, the Bayern Munich forward entered the Bleus set-up in autumn 2024 and has since played 28 matches, scoring nine and providing 10 assists.

Despite that output, a layer of mystery still surrounds the Londoner and his singular personality.

Even years of analysis, observation and conversation, likely not with him, might not fully explain him.

Behind the flamboyant, highly creative winger lies a character whose motivations are hard to read, and whose capacity to exert influence off the pitch within this cohort remains uncertain.
