Cyle Larin settled it in the 70th minute with a glancing header, as Southampton beat Watford 1-0. It was his first goal for the club.
From James Bree's cross after a corner, Larin drifted across his marker and guided his header into the roof of the net (70.). The finish capped a sharp introduction just minutes after he came on, immediately giving the Saints a penalty box presence.
He then offered an outlet to help the Saints manage territory, completing a dribble and drawing the Hornets deeper as they chased. Larin also contributed without the ball, making one clearance to ease pressure in the closing stages.
The Canada forward finished with one attempt and one goal from 13 touches, plus three dribbles, two recoveries and one clearance. Maximum impact, minimal waste, and the difference maker on a tight afternoon.
The Saints rise from 14th to 12th and visit Leicester next. The Hornets remain eighth and travel to Preston.
