Lassine Sinayoko put Auxerre ahead in the 32nd minute with a precise right-footed strike from the left, as Auxerre won 2-0 at LOSC.
The Mali forward had already drawn a save moments earlier before finding the top right corner from a difficult angle, a finish that shifted the momentum and gave the visitors control.
After the restart he kept stretching LOSC with repeated runs into the left channel and worked tirelessly without the ball, winning possession five times and making two interceptions.
He sealed the game with a ruthless second into the top left corner from Gideon Mensah's pass (90.).
Sinayoko finished with three attempts, all on target, plus four touches in the box and one aerial duel won, underlining sharp movement and clean striking.
Auxerre remain 15th on 34 points. LOSC are third with 61.
