Anis Hadj Moussa changed it in the 23rd minute with a whipped cross, setting Feyenoord on their way to a 4-2 win over Heracles. He later settled the contest with a precise left-foot finish.
He had already tested Timo Jansink from distance (11.). He then supplied the opener (23.), bending a cross that Leo Sauer glanced into the bottom left.
After the restart he continued to tease the back line, delivering another telling cross that Hwang In-beom headed goalwards before it was blocked (57.). Then he cut inside and swept into the top left (83.).
Hadj Moussa finished with a goal and an assist, three attempts, two on target, six successful dribbles and eleven possessions won, plus fourteen touches in the box and three accurate crosses, underlining constant threat and work rate.
His direct running from the right isolated full backs and opened lanes for cut backs and late arrivals, keeping Heracles pinned and allowing Feyenoord to control the key moments.
Feyenoord rise from third to second in the Eredivisie and visit Real Betis in the Europa League next. Heracles remain 18th and host Fortuna Sittard next.
