Sven Mijnans levelled in the 23rd minute and then completed a ruthless hat-trick as PSV beat Sparta Rotterdam 4-1.

The midfielder first ghosted into space to glance a header inside the far corner, cancelling out the visitors' early breakaway. His timing between the lines kept Sparta's back three guessing.

After the restart, he pounced from close range to make it count (74.), lifting the Boeren into a commanding position as gaps opened up in transition.

He sealed it with a left-footed hit from outside the box into the top left (88.) after Lutsharel Geertruida stepped in to feed the strike.
