Decisive figure preserves Moreirense's point at Famalicão

André Ferreira saved a point in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time with a reflex stop, as Moreirense drew 1-1 at Famalicão.

He had already set the tone in the first minute of first half stoppage time, tipping a goalbound header away to keep the visitors in front at the interval.

In the 76th minute, the goalkeeper got down sharply to his left to parry a low effort from close range. Moments later, he beat away another strike under the bar (77.).

Ferreira stayed busy late on, blocking a central shot at chest height (88.), before that last-gasp save capped his display.

He finished with five saves, three high claims and 58 touches, repeatedly relieving pressure when Famalicão loaded the box. With the hosts slinging in 44 crosses, his handling steadied Moreirense through a long spell of defending.
