Bradley Barcola headed in at the back post in the 37th minute to give Paris Saint-Germain a 1-0 victory at Le Havre.
Peeling off his marker, Barcola attacked Lee Kang-in's lofted delivery and bounced a header beyond Mory Diaw (37.). The timing of his blind-side run separated him from the defence and made the finish routine.
Moments later he pinched possession and released Lee, who shot wide on the counter (39.). After the restart he met another centre unmarked but directed his header off target (51.).
He then surged down the right and squared for Nuno Mendes, whose close-range effort was smothered by Diaw (66.). Barcola finished with three attempts, three key passes and 12 touches in the box, a line-breaking outlet whenever PSG sprang forward.
Because Le Havre's back three left space at the far post and in transition, his wide starting positions and bursts inside repeatedly stretched their shape and kept the hosts retreating.
PSG, who lead Ligue 1, host Monaco next. Le Havre visit Brest.
