Adam Idah changed it in the 74th minute with a low right-footed finish, as Swansea City beat Charlton Athletic 3-1. He added a second from close range (82.) to tilt the game decisively.
Idah's first contribution was clinical. Ghosting between centre-backs, he met Josh Key's delivery and steered it into the bottom right, a composed touch that rewarded Swansea's sustained pressure.
He then restored control with a striker's run and finish (82.), bursting through on a fast break after Thomas Woodward released him, and rifling high to leave Thomas Kaminski with no chance.
The substitute's numbers underlined his impact: three attempts, two on target, three touches in the box, plus two recoveries in the attacking third. He also completed 10 of 12 passes, knitting moves together while repeatedly attacking the near-post channel.
Because Swansea's wide supply lines stretched Charlton Athletic, Idah could attack the space between centre-back and wing-back. His direct movement pinned defenders and gave Swansea midfielders simple angles into the area at key moments.
Swansea City finish 11th on 64 points. Charlton Athletic end 19th with 53.
