It’s sure to be a fascinating contest, and there are already a lot of interesting sub plots forming, with Chelsea looking to beat Arsenal for the first time since 2021.

The game will see Noni Madueke return to Chelsea for the first time since leaving in the summer, whilst it will also see Rice and Caicedo face off in midfield.

Rice and Caicedo are arguably to the two best midfielders in the league, and the pair have been compared to each other a lot.

Chelsea legend Claude Makelele prefers Caicedo, and Rice has now spoken on the Ecuador international ahead of Sunday’s game.

“I have a lot of respect for Moises, I have played against him since the Brighton days, I had him in my PFA Team Of The Year last year,” he told CBS Sports.

“I thought he was outstanding, he has started this year incredibly well, there is a lot of comparisons but we are playing different positions.

“He’s a full blown six while I am more of a box to box number eight, Sunday is going to be an interesting game but the most important thing is I have a lot of respect for him as a player.”
