LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles FC won 1-nil against Colorado Rapids in the second leg of their Round One series, tying 2-2 on aggregate with LAFC advancing on away goals, as the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup continued Tuesday at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Mark Delgado struck the opening goal in the 49', tying the series on aggregate, with LAFC holding the advantage on the away goals tiebreaker.

David Martínez tried from distance in the 59’ but was denied by Rapids goalkeeper Zack Steffen.

LAFC goalkeeper Hugo Lloris denied Cole Bassett from close range in the 69’ to keep the scoreline intact.

Lloris denied another Bassett attempt in the 84’ on his way to finishing the night with two saves. In the process, the French goalkeeper collected his first clean sheet in the CCC.

With the victory, Los Angeles FC won the series and advanced to the Round of 16, where they will meet reigning Leagues Cup champions and 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup runners-up Columbus Crew.
