Deniz Gul called up for the World Cup

Turkey’s final squad for the 2026 World Cup has been announced. FC Porto striker Deniz Gul is included in the call-up.

Turkey has revealed its final list of 26 players called up for the 2026 World Cup, with FC Porto striker Deniz Gul among those selected. Merih Demiral (former Sporting), Orkun Kokçu (former Benfica) and Kerem Akturkoglu (former Benfica) are also part of the squad.

In the final stage of the 2026 World Cup, Turkey is in Group D and will face the United States, one of the host countries, Paraguay and Australia. The Turks’ first match in the group stage is scheduled for 14 June against Australia.
