Deportivo Dolavon have started laying synthetic turf on their auxiliary pitch, a key step in expanding training capacity. The project is also intended to ease the strain on the natural surface at the Estadio Monumental de las Norias.
According to SuperDepor.com, installation is under way and is set to be completed in the coming days, allowing the facility to be used shortly.
Club president Tomás Pierce confirmed the start of the works and conveyed the excitement around a long-held ambition for the community.
The new surface is expected to host training for all divisions, and some teams could stage official matches there in time. It should also help protect the main grass pitch, which is currently in constant use.
This progress comes alongside another milestone for the club, with homegrown player Kevin Garay recently joining the first team. The project is regarded within the club as a significant upgrade for Las Norias.
