Deportivo’s return to La Liga continues to deliver surprises, with Adama Traoré emerging as the next marquee addition after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. According to Superdeporte, the next 48 hours are key and the club are optimistic the move can be completed.

The former Barça winger became a free agent in June after a spell at West Ham, and is open to returning to La Liga.

Dépor want speed and power on the right, and Traoré fits the brief. An established performer, he would add experience to a side where half the players have yet to play in the top flight. He has more than 300 senior games and over 70 goal contributions across Wolverhampton, Fulham, West Ham and Barça.

If finalised, Dépor would boast a front line few could have imagined a year ago. The Barça academy graduate would join Yeremay Hernández and Aubameyang in a potential trident.

Those names come on top of €26 million already spent on new arrivals, with further additions expected. The project is built on survival, yet with this squad La Coruña can start to dream of more.
