Deportivo ‘to move for’ Lazio full-back Luca Pellegrini amid Hull City links | OneFootball

Lazio left-back Luca Pellegrini is expected to depart this summer, with Deportivo La Coruña a possible destination and newly promoted Premier League side Hull City also linked.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Deportivo want the 27-year-old and have Lyon veteran Nicolas Tagliafico on their left-back shortlist.

Pellegrini has slipped to third choice at left-back after Alfonso Pedraza arrived. The Spaniard is set to contest the starting role with Nuno Tavares, leaving the Roman on the fringes, particularly without European football.

A Roma academy graduate and self-professed Lazio fan, he joined in January 2023, initially on loan from Juventus. He has had highs and lows over the past three and a half years.

Deportivo have recently returned to the Spanish top flight. The clubs crossed paths this summer when Deportivo beat Lazio to Jonathan Asp Jensen after agreeing terms with Bayern Munich, while Lazio had terms with the player but could not close the deal with Bayern Munich.

Pellegrini is under contract until June 2027. He is unlikely to command a significant fee, but Lazio would shed his wages, with Capolgy estimating his annual gross salary at €2.4 million.
