Lazio have submitted to Lega Serie A their 2026/27 squad, leaving out defenders Patric and Luca Pellegrini.

According to The Laziali, Serie A clubs have now filed their lists, which are largely locked until January with only two changes permitted. Clubs may register up to 25 senior players, with four club-trained, four association-trained and 17 free spots, plus unlimited under-22s.

Published on Wednesday evening, the squad features new arrivals Alfonso Pedraza, Danilho Doekhi, Davide Frattesi, Josip Sutalo, Andrea Pinamonti and Albert Gudmundsson.

The omissions also included Alessio Romagnoli, who has been given the green light to travel to Qatar to finalise a move to Al-Sadd.

Patric, the longest-serving player in the current squad, has endured repeated injuries and missed the whole pre-season. At 32, his condition is viewed as serious and he is not expected to feature any time soon.

With Pedraza and Nuno Tavares competing at left-back, Pellegrini is considered surplus. His minor injury has not helped his chances. It remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old can secure a move to Türkiye before the market closes on Friday.
