Desire Doue strikes late to keep leaders six clear | OneFootball

PSG beat Brest 1-0 at the Parc des Princes, a late Desire Doue strike keeping the leaders six points clear ahead of Wednesday's trip to Lens.

Lucas Hernandez drew a fingertip save in the seventh minute as the hosts seized control.

Renato Marin then smothered Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe's close-range effort (33.) after Romain Del Castillo and Kamory Doumbia combined.

After the restart, Gonçalo Ramos headed over from Senny Mayulu's cross (53.) and Luis Enrique turned to the bench, introducing Desire Doue (53.) then Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (61.).

Mayulu rattled the bar and then the post with a curling strike (69.), with Junior Diaz hooking behind to prevent Dembélé turning in the rebound.

Doue settled it (82.), taking Hernandez's pass on the edge and drilling low into the bottom right corner.

PSG attempted 23 shots and won 13 corners as their pressure told. Brest mustered three attempts.

Play was twice interrupted, first by an officials' communication issue before the break and again for flares early in the second half.
