The German Football Association confirmed that a deal to appoint Jürgen Klopp as Germany head coach is nearing completion.
Talks have been held between the federation and Klopp’s employer, Red Bull.

Klopp remains under contract with Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer until 2029.
He is set to replace Julian Nagelsmann.
He is expected to sign a deal running until after the 2030 World Cup.
