Bayern Munich will host 1. FC Magdeburg in the DFB-Pokal second round, while Borussia Dortmund face Werder Bremen after this evening's draw.

According to BuLi News, the draw took place at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, with Bastian Schweinsteiger conducting proceedings and DFB vice-president Peter Frymuth overseeing.

Bayer Leverkusen host 1. FC Nürnberg, Borussia Mönchengladbach meet Karlsruher SC, Holstein Kiel play Hoffenheim, and VfL Bochum face Mainz 05. Dynamo Dresden welcome Schalke 04, and Hannover 96 take on 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

SG Sonnenhof Großaspach host Augsburg, SSV Jeddeloh II welcome Hertha BSC, Rot-Weiss Essen face RB Leipzig, and SV Elversberg meet Darmstadt 98.

All 16 second-round ties are scheduled around Wednesday, 28 October.
