DFB reveal date for Jürgen Klopp's first Germany squad announcement

Having replaced Julian Nagelsmann as Germany coach, Jürgen Klopp is set to name his first squad in his new role next month.

As the German Football Association confirmed on Monday, Klopp’s first Germany squad will be announced on September 17.

Klopp and Germany will play four UEFA Nations League games during the two-week international break, which begins in September and runs into early October.

Germany will kick things off with a trip to Amsterdam to face the Netherlands on September 24. That game will be followed by home matches against Greece (September 27) and Serbia (October 1) and an away trip to Greece on October 3.
