Two emotional late goals from Luis Díaz saw Colombia come from behind to down Brazil.

Brazil got just the start they were looking for, snatching the lead through Gabriel Martinelli, who slid home a Vinicius Junior cross inside five minutes to stun the home crowd.

The visitors pushed for a second goal after the break, as Colombia clung on to keep themselves in the tie.

The best chance fell to Raphina on the edge of the box, but his rasping effort flew just wide of the post to elicit gasps around the stadium.

The final 20 minutes were all about Luis Díaz. The Liverpool man created a flurry of chances on his own before finally sticking a header into the back of the net to reclaim parity for the hosts.

Astonishingly, Díaz popped up in the box once again less than four minutes later to head home another strike for Colombia to snatch the lead in dramatic fashion.

The stunning win sees Colombia leapfrog Brazil and move into third place.

Uruguay stun Argentina away from home

Scorers: Araújo 41′, Núñez 87′

A goal in each half was enough for Uruguay to stun Argentina at La Bombonera and deal the world champions their first defeat since the 2022 World Cup.

While it was Argentina who were on the front foot in the opening 40 minutes, Uruguay stunned the home crowd in the dying minutes of the first half by nabbing the lead on the break.

A superb cross across the face of goal from Matías Viña picked out Ronald Araújo, who fired home at the back post.

Leo Messi appeared to have the chance to reclaim parity after the break, but his free-kick from the edge of the box rang the crossbar before flying high behind the goal.

Argentina pushed forward to find the equaliser, but they were undone by a superb pass to release Darwin Núñez in behind, who fired home with just the keeper to beat to seal all three points for the visitors.

The impressive result for Uruguay means they move up to second place in the standings, two points behind leaders Argentina.
