FC Metz strengthened its attacking sector on Friday by announcing the arrival of Cameroonian striker Didier Lamkel Zé.

FC Metz welcome a new player, as part of the LFP Board of Directors' decision to transpose into its regulations the decision of FIFA in favour of foreign players playing in Russia. Didier Lamkel Zé, who was on loan to FC Khimki until mid-March, has been transferred to Les Grenats for the last two months of the competition by the Belgian club Royal Antwerp.

Origins in Ligue 2 BKT A product of the LOSC academy who made his name at Chamois Niortais between 2016 and 2018 (55 games in Ligue 2 BKT, ten goals), the 25-year-old striker has been playing at Antwerp for three and a half years. This is his third loan this season, after a first experience of four months at Dunajska Streda (Slovak D1) and one month in Russia from February to March. At Metz, the Cameroonian international (one cap) will wear the number 22 and join two of his compatriots who arrived this winter: Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik and Ibrahim Amadou.
