Diego Lagos joins Lobos UPNFM from Inter Miami academy | OneFootball

The club said in a statement that academy product Diego Lagos has joined Honduran first-division side Lobos UPNFM, with Inter Miami retaining a future sell-on clause.

The move follows his rise through the club’s development pathway.

Lagos joined the Inter Miami academy ahead of the 2024-25 season from local side Miami Rush Kendall SC, becoming part of the U-19 squad.

Within months, he earned an opportunity with Inter Miami II, the club’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, and was named on the roster for the 2025 season.

During his time with Inter Miami, he received multiple youth call-ups for Honduras, featuring for the U-20 and U-21 national teams.

Inter Miami thanked Lagos for his contributions and wished him well for the future.
