Digital ID entry and new access, Colón’s plan to speed up stadium entry

After the delays and police mistreatment reported by the fans, the club’s leadership took concrete measures for Sunday.

This Sunday, ahead of the next match at the Brigadier López, Gate 7 will be officially opened. The idea is to ease both entry and exit for the entire south stand and avoid crowd bottlenecks.

The other major development involves the ticket booths. Starting this weekend, fans who are not members and buy general admission tickets will no longer receive a physical ticket or a separate QR code: their entry will be loaded directly onto the barcode on their ID. With this, they aim to speed up checks at the turnstiles and put a stop to the long lines at the entrances.
