Dimitrievski hails Suzuki as World Cup standout with PSG move close | OneFootball

"There were incredible goalkeepers. Suzuki of Japan is a very good goalkeeper," said Stole Dimitrievski, speaking to Superdeporte in Girona.

"Very young, he showed a high level at Parma. With Marcos and Andoni we sometimes analyse that some goalkeepers pull off great saves but their positioning is wrong, or they concede and have done everything right. I am going with Suzuki, he has shown a high level and could play perfectly for a team at Champions League level."

Suzuki’s transfer is not yet official, but it is close to being finalised for around 30 million euros, which would give Luis Enrique one of the World Cup’s standout goalkeepers.

Dimitrievski won the number one spot in 2025/26 and ended the campaign as one of Valencia’s top performers, after a spell when he even saw himself leaving the club.

Without Julen Agirrezabala, the North Macedonia international recorded his first clean sheet of the summer against Stoke City. He began pre-season later, used the time to rest, and watched plenty of football.
