Yan Diomande completed Real Madrid’s run of behind-closed-doors presentations on Tuesday, 19 days after his signing was announced. In a private Valdebebas ceremony he symbolically signed to 2033 with Florentino Pérez and Pirri present, and posed with the number 25 shirt. No supporters or media were admitted.

“They paid a lot of money because they believe in me. I do not feel any pressure,” he later told SportyTV. “If you play for Mourinho, you want to die for Mourinho. We are all ready to die for him.”

After his cameo in Cornellà, he could make his Bernabéu debut against Real Sociedad on Thursday at 21.00.
