Diomande ‘to join’ Real Madrid, but reports differ on agreement

Conflicting lines have emerged over Yan Diomande’s proposed move to Real Madrid, with some reports saying the transfer is close and others disputing any agreement with RB Leipzig.

Ben Jacobs reports the clubs have an agreement in principle, while Teamtalk and AS say only minor details remain. AS also suggests the 19-year-old could be unveiled as early as Monday, while Sky Germany maintains there is no deal yet and talks continue.

The fee is expected to be around €115-120 million, with the Ivory Coast international reportedly set to sign a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Despite momentum in some quarters, the move remains uncertain until the clubs reach full agreement.
