Álvaro Djaló has been recalled by Guinea-Bisáu for the international break, with games against Tanzania on 25 September and Nigeria on 29 September.
According to as.com, the Athletic winger, 27, returns to the set-up after his loan at Al Gharafa SC in Qatar as he looks to convince Terzic this season.
He has made 29 competitive appearances for Athletic since the club paid 15 million plus 5 in add-ons to Sporting de Braga.
Born in Madrid in 1999, Djaló developed with UD San Miguel in Basauri and SD Begoña in Bilbao.
He had previously been called up three times and has two caps under coach Emiliano Té, a tally he may add to at the end of September.
He represents the country of his parents' origin, and this selection coincides with Iñaki Williams stepping away from Ghana to focus on Athletic.
