Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck twice in Leeds United’s 4-1 home win over Crystal Palace, taking him to six goals in five games.

The England-capped forward matched Mark Viduka’s feat as the last Leeds player to score in five successive Premier League matches, achieved in April 2003.

He had started the evening on a run of four league games with a goal, aware that another would equal a 22-year club record.

The player said in a post that he loved life at Elland Road, praised a top performance and the support under the lights, nodded to Last Christmas and signed off with MOT.

Calvert-Lewin joined Leeds as a free agent in the summer and was again celebrated by the home crowd.
