FC Bayern made a clear statement on the 13th Bundesliga matchday – and rolled over VfB Stuttgart 5:0 in their own stadium. For the Swabians, the top match turned into a bitter humiliation that caused a lot of frustration after the final whistle

Stuttgart had gone into the match with high expectations, but it was already apparent in the first half that the record champions were setting a different tempo that evening. Despite the deficit, Stuttgart at least remained within striking distance until the 66th minute – but then the team quickly fell apart. Joker Harry Kane, of all people, who had only come on as a substitute five minutes earlier, scored to make it 2-0 and trigger the Swabians‘ complete collapse.
