According to L'Équipe, Donovan Léon will return in goal for Auxerre when they host Nantes on Saturday at 19:00, a pivotal survival clash between 16th and 17th.
He missed the trip to Le Havre last Sunday through suspension after being sent off early against Brest on 21 March, a game Auxerre still won 3-0. The Le Havre match finished 1-1.
Auxerre, currently in the play-off spot, are aiming to record a second straight home victory. A win would push 17th-placed Nantes eight points back and reinforce hopes of staying up directly.
Head coach Christophe Pelissier says he is pleased to have settled on a more stable 4-2-3-1, with connections forming and a fresh attacking balance. He has favoured the Faivre-Namaso-Oppegard trio behind Lassine Sinayoko.
Reflecting on the draw at Le Havre, Pelissier highlighted the team’s mobility and technical quality. He wants to see the same in the remaining matches.
