Dortmund's door could re-open to Asllani if Fábio Silva departs | OneFootball

According to Sport BILD, Borussia Dortmund still have TSG Hoffenheim's Fisnik Asllani on their radar for the future.

As previously reported, prior to his collapsed move to RB Leipzig, the striker himself could imagine a move to Dortmund.

Should Fábio Silva leave BVB soon, the trail to Asllani could heat up this summer, with a loan with and obligation to buy a possibility.

Ahead of their Super Cup clash with Bayern Munich on Saturday, BVB sporting director Lars Ricken hinted more signings could yet be made.

“We've done our initial tasks and effectively compensated for departures. Now, on August 20th, we're in a position to monitor the market.

"Nothing more needs to happen, but something might. We're prepared; perhaps some exciting opportunities will arise for us.

“I would be anything but unhappy if we went into the season with this squad. I think we've assembled a well-balanced squad," he added.
