Roma will shake up their attack in the coming months.

They’ll be leaving the capital Zaragoza, with Venturino, El Shaarawy, and Ferguson leaving—four players who, for various reasons, contributed little to Gian Piero Gasperini’s team last season.

Additionally, several positions are up in the air, including Artem Dovbyk.

The Ukrainian center-forward has had a difficult season: first overtaken in the pecking order by Ferguson, then hampered by injuries, including a myotendinous tear in his left thigh that forced him to undergo surgery.

This prolonged layoff meant he missed the entire second half of the season, save for a final appearance in the derby against Lazio.

Dovbyk will likely leave the capital. It won’t be easy for Roma to sell a player who was paid around €40 million two years ago without making a capital loss.

As Nicolò Schirà reports, the former Girona player isn’t part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans and is ready to move elsewhere.

Two foreign clubs have already inquired about Dovbyk, who scored three goals and provided two assists in just 627 minutes last season. Furthermore, according to Ekrem Konur, Milan and Fiorentina are reportedly interested in Gasperini’s number 9 in Italy.
