Lincoln City beat Bristol City 1-0 at Ashton Gate as Freddie Draper's second half finish lifted the visitors from 19th to eighth and dropped City from seventh to 13th.

Early on, Lorent Tolaj headed against the bar and Yu Hirakawa drew George Wickens into routine saves as City pressed.

After the restart, Ben House fed Freddie Draper, who guided a left-footed finish into the bottom corner in the 53rd minute.

A lengthy stoppage preceded Rob Dickie's withdrawal, with Rob Atkinson introduced (76.). City kept coming, and Wickens held Atkinson's close-range header (84.).

City finished with 67.2% possession, 18 attempts and 13 corners, but couldn't find a way through. Lincoln City registered nine attempts and protected their lead with disciplined defending.
