Rangers will not be signing PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech, with the move now off ‘due to an injury’, according to journalist Chris Jack.
The Gers put major effort into pushing through a move for the Moroccan wide-man, seeing off competition from La Liga side Celta Vigo and MLS outfit Colorado Rapids.
Driouech agreed personal terms with Rangers on a deal expected to cost the Gers €8m to do and flew into the UK to undergo his medical.

He spoke warmly about the move, which he fully expected to happen.
The switch was tipped to be completed on Thursday, but then talk surfaced of a possible delay to the official confirmation of the move.
It was still not expected to be at risk, though now there has been a major turnaround and it will not happen.

Jack wrote on X: “Rangers will not complete a £7million move for Couhaib Driouech and the deal is now off due to an injury. Personal terms were agreed.
“Rangers will now move on to other targets. The defeat to Jagiellonia had no impact on the Driouech situation.”
There will be questions asked about why Driouech did not convince during his medical and what the injury the Moroccan has is, with no suggestion at any stage he was struggling with a knock.
Driouech missed out on a matchday squad for PSV Eindhoven recently and that was suggested to be due to him not being fully fit, but no injury was specified.

Now all eyes will be on what reason emerges from the Netherlands end of the deal about it collapsing.
Rangers are working overtime in the market and will bid to quickly get over the Driouech deal not happening.
They have booked former Hearts left-back James Penrice in for a medical after agreeing a loan deal with AEK Athens.
A bid was also sent to MLS side Portland Timbers for their striker Kevin Kelsy, but the American outfit do not want to sell the player and he is not pushing to move.
Rangers will be expected to sign another winger, regardless of the Driouech situation, and are one of four sides looking at Girona wide-man Kim Min-su.
