Dynamo Moscow ‘make’ €15m-plus bid for Lazio forward Petar Ratkov | OneFootball

Lazio have received an offer exceeding €15 million from Dynamo Moscow for Petar Ratkov, with talks targeted before the summer window closes, La Lazio Siamo Noi reports.

Ratkov joined in January from RB Salzburg for €13 million following Taty Castellanos’ move to West Ham United. He struggled under Maurizio Sarri and ended the season without a goal contribution.

At the start of the summer, the club urged Gennaro Gattuso to maximise the centre-forward, and he has since scored six goals in five pre-season friendlies against lower-tier opponents. Even so, his future remains unresolved.

The 22-year-old is understood to prefer staying in Rome to prove himself, but the clubs appear to be in negotiations and the figure could tempt Lazio into a quick sale.

Lazio want a replacement in place before any approval. Andrea Pinamonti and Benfica’s Franjo Ivanovic are seen as the most viable options, while signing Santiago Gimenez from AC Milan remains complicated.
