According to sources close to Sky Germany, Edin Džeko is on his way to Gelsenkirchen to finalize things with Schalke 04.
The veteran Bosnian marksman is expected to land in Düsseldorf at some point today, Wednesday, 21 January.

Schalke and Fiorentina are believed to have reached an agreement on the transfer earlier this morning.
As previously reported, the Royal Blues are not expected to pay a direct transfer fee, but only bonus payments.
The contract will be signed after the medical examination, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday, 22 January.
