Eastleigh sign Southampton defender Tommy Dobson-Ventura on loan | OneFootball

According to Daily Echo, Eastleigh have completed four signings ahead of their National League opener against Gateshead tomorrow, including Southampton defender Tommy Dobson-Ventura on loan.

The 19-year-old captains Saints under-21s, has agreed a new one-year deal with his boyhood club, and was part of the squad that trained in Germany last week.

He made 25 appearances for Adam Lallana's side last season and has represented England at under-16 and under-17 levels.

Former Saints goalkeeper Josh Jeffries has signed permanently with the Spitfires after a trial.

Eastleigh have also added winger Dion Rankine and midfielder Nelson Khumbeni on loan from Crewe Alexandra and Gillingham respectively.

Dobson-Ventura lives nearby, has often watched Eastleigh, and is excited to play for the club.
