Southampton v Portsmouth south coast derby sells out

Tickets for next month's south coast derby between Southampton and Portsmouth at St Mary's have sold out.

As reported by Daily Echo, the Hampshire rivals meet on Sunday, October 11, with a midday kick-off.

It will be the first match back for both sides after an extended international break that starts next week.

Tickets went on sale less than a month ago, and any remaining hopefuls must rely on the ticket exchange.

Portsmouth are set to bring 2,500 away fans, with a bubble system again in place for travelling supporters in both fixtures this season.

Both meetings ended in draws last season, and Saints are seeking a first home win over Pompey since 2005.
