Eberl ‘to know by next summer’ if Olise will extend at Bayern | OneFootball

Max Eberl has set out Bayern Munich’s stance on Michael Olise, playing down suggestions the winger could be sold amid ongoing speculation.

“If you want to win the Champions League, that question does not arise. That is the great thing about Bayern Munich: we do not have to buckle over any fee,” he told Sport Bild.

“Michael has developed exceptionally well with us. At some point, we will certainly sit down and discuss what happens next. He still has a three-year contract, I emphasise: without a release clause,” he said.

“Let me put it this way: by next summer, we should know whether there is an inclination on his part to extend his contract or not.”

Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen recently refused to guarantee that Olise would stay beyond the summer of 2027. Real Madrid have been mentioned as the main suitors for the France international.
