Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise could be in demand during the next summer transfer window, amid interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for Olise this summer, but Bayern made it clear that the former Crystal Palace winger would not be sold at any price.

Madrid went on to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, but they should still be among the clubs in the mix if Olise is made available next summer.

Are Liverpool interested in signing Michael Olise?

The Reds have signed Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but Olise could be the next £100m+ signing for the Reds, as they look to sign a new right winger.

We have covered a report earlier this month that Bayern could be prepared to add a new release clause to Olise’s contract, which would give the club greater control over the matter.

“At what price point would you consider selling Michael Olise?,” said Max Eberl, as Christian Falk relayed to CFBayern.

“If you want to win the Champions League, that question doesn’t arise. That’s the beauty of Bayern Munich: you don’t have to waver, no matter the sum.”

Olise has a contract at Bayern until 2029, and Eberl is happy with the progress the Frenchman has made at the club.

Eberl adds: “Michael has made exceptional progress with us. We will certainly sit down at the appropriate time to discuss the way forward.

“He still has a three-year contract—and I emphasize: without a release clause. Let me put it this way: we should know by next summer whether or not he is leaning towards an extension.”

Michael Olise future: Do Liverpool have a chance?

Bayern, obviously, would love to keep Olise at the club for years to come and want the Frenchman to sign a new deal.

However, there could be multiple factors behind Olise’s decision to look for options elsewhere, and one of them is Bayern’s European performances.

Liverpool have shown in recent years that they can spend big in the transfer market, buying players for more than £100m, and there is no reason to believe that they cannot pursue a deal for Olise.

The Frenchman is a left-footed wing wizard who has previous Premier League experience playing for Crystal Palace.

Olise scores goals and provides plenty of assists, while his overall involvement in the team adds a new dimension to the Bayern attack under Vincent Kompany.

The next few months will be crucial. It would be a massive success for Eberl and Bayern if they can convince Olise to stay put and help the club win the Champions League in the near future.
