Ed Sheeran to feature on Barcelona jersey for next Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu | OneFootball

Ever since the collaboration between Spotify and FC Barcelona, there has been a new element to the already sky-high excitement that El Clásicos generate.

With this partnership, there is a condition for the Catalan team to wear a special shirt for their league matches against Real Madrid, where, instead of the normal Spotify logo, there is the logo of a global artist.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the artist who will feature on the shirts of the Catalan team for the next Clásico, scheduled for October 26th, is none other than Ed Sheeran.

Thus, the English singer and songwriter would take over from Travis Scott, who featured on the shirts for the last Clásico, and become the seventh artist to get his logo in an El Clásico shirt for Barcelona. Before him, Drake, Rosalia, Rolling Stone, Karol G, Coldplay, and Travis Scott have had this honor.

Ed Sheeran, in addition to being one of the most popular artists of this generation, is also an avid football fan, and mainly associates with the English Championship team Ipswich Town, in which he has a minority stake and whose jerseys he also helped design.
