Egypt will face Ivory Coast on Saturday, January 10, in a match counting for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).

Both teams reached this stage of the competition after defeating Benin (1-0) and Burkina Faso (3-0) respectively.

The Pharaohs are aiming to extend their record for AFCON titles, having previously lifted the trophy in 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008, and 2010.
