Egypt B Start Arab Cup Preparations With Victory Over Tunisia

The Egypt B national team sealed narrow 1 - 0 win over Tunisia in friendly clash played at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Egypt as part of preparations for the upcoming Arab cup.

Afsha delivers the winner

Midfielder Mohamed Magdy Afsha scored the only goal in the 30 minute. A perfectly weighted pass from striker Marwan Hamdy sent him through on goal before he fired past Tunisian keeper Abdessalem Hallaoui with precision.

Arab Cup countdown

The Arab cup will be hosted in Qatar from 1 to 18 December with Egypt keen to fine tune their squad ahead of the tournament.

The Pharaohs second string will meet Tunisia again on Tuesday, 9 Sep at 6:30 PM (GMT) in another friendly encounter.

Helmy Toulon at the helm

The Egypt B side's currently led by veteran coach Helmy Toulan who stepped in to oversee the team after Hossam Hassan head coach of the senior national team declined to participate in the Arab cup by the first squad.
