Sky report Bayern Munich made further progress in their attempt to sign Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt. According to the recent update, the move nears completion for €55 million.

Florian Plettenberg reported the clubs are moving significantly closer to full agreement, with final talks focused on the arrangement of fixed fees and add-ons. It will be the second most expensive fullback transfer in Bundesliga history. Bayern paid Lucas Hernández's €80 million release clause at Atlético Madrid back in 2019.

Brown is expected to start for Germany in their opening World Cup fixture against debutants Curaçao on Sunday. It'll be the first competitive start for the 22-year-old left-back.
