Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Lucas Alario, according to Kicker.
B04 wanted €6.5m for the 29-year-old striker, a fee that Eintracht Frankfurt weren’t willing to pay in a lump sum. Both clubs compromised and SGE will pay parts of the fee via bonuses, depending on performance.
It was reported earlier today that Alario had reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt after talks had been ongoing for the past week. The Argentine will sign a three-year deal until 2025 with Oliver Glasner’s side and the deal will be made official once medical examinations are completed.
Alario has scored 42 goals in 126 Bundesliga games for Bayer Leverkusen since his €19m move from River Plate in 2017.
