Eintracht Frankfurt ‘to step up’ move for FC Twente prospect Ruud Nijstad

Voetbal International reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are seriously interested in submitting a bid for Ruud Nijstad.

The Hessen side are aiming to move quickly before rival suitors reappear for the FC Twente defender.

Their main competition is apparently PSV Eindhoven, whose recent €5 to 6 million offer was rejected.

Twente are said to be seeking a significantly higher fee, and it remains unclear how much Frankfurt would invest.

Several Premier League clubs are also tracking the Dutch under-18 international, some offering multi-club career pathways.
